So I got pulled over in may and had expired car insurance of about 10 months. I had presented my expired car insurance document and the cop had my car towed to a nearby car shop, where i got it back a few days later. The cop called another cop to drive me back to my university since my car was towed. I was talking to the cop who drove me back and asked what I can do and he told me to just plead not guilty on my ticket and get new insurance and bring it to the court. I recently bought a motorcycle and i'm just about to buy insurance but i am abit confused, I'm thinking of getting the Third party fire & theft insurance, which means i wont get no claim if I crash my bike but what if the other drive is at fault? Hello everyone, so I had a talk with my father today and he told me as soon as he's done paying off my car, he's putting it under my name and I will have to pay the insurance. When I first received my driving license I did receive two citations for speeding. I don't know if that will play a roll ? Since I was 15 at the time. Anyway we currently have progressive which to me seems like they are too expensive for a college student I was wondering what insurance many of you have had luck with and still at an okay budget. I'm 18 years old, so I'm sure it will be expensive. My car is a 2008 Pontiac g6 4 door sedan I've had two citations. And that's about it ...can someone give me kind of a price range estimate for different car insurance companies in Florida ? If that makes a difference? And about how much I should expect to pay a month or for a six month policy? I know right now my dad paid almost 1200 for a six month policy on my car, but thats on his insurance and for being a diamond member. Thankyou all in advance.

After complete the traffic school, somehow the DMV-California did not dismiss my ticket. Until my insurance renewal coming up, they notified me of this ticket, I immediately sent the correction form to DMV to correct this and also sent a clarification to my insurance to explain this matter. My question is does my insurance can take this misshape by DMV to raise my premiums?

Insurance on a S2000 for a 45 year old man?

How much would it cost for a 45 year old man with a good clean record to own a S2000? I'm only 22 and planning on buying a IS300 (with manual transmission). If I do find one the car will be under my dads name and the cost will be around $150 a month!!! But how much for the S2000 (and under my dads name)? I want the IS300 but there so hard to find in MN with manual transmission and with very low miles on!!! So if the S2000 doesn't cost too much or maybe as much as the IS300's insurance, I probably would consider getting the S2000 since it's a bit easier to find one! (plus they look better!) I'm 26, had license for only 3 years. About to get my own insurance, just the basic state minimum, nothing fancy. Nationwide gave me an online quote of 204$ for 6 months... That doesn't sound right, sounds low, that's about $35 a month. In January I got insurance for only s month and it was $70 a month... Of course I hadnt had my license 3 years yet.

I currently have USAA and back in Nov 2005 I hit a piece of tire on I-25. The tire ripped out my wheel well cover and took the electrical system with it. I made a claim that came out to 1K including my deductible. When trying to change insurance this claim came up and uppped my 6 month policy by 300 dollars.
